Argentinian instrumental heavy psych/progressive rock band Poseidótica stream new album »Las Palabras y La Realidad«; out now via Smolder Brains Records!

Buenos Aires, Argentina based instrumental heavy psych/progressive rock band Poseidótica feat. Los Natas drummer Walter Broide is streaming their new album, »Las Palabras y La Realidad«, which was just released on June 14th, 2024 with CD edition coming on July 26th, 2024 via Smolder Brains Records.

Poseidótica, an instrumental rock group formed in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in late 2000, has its own identity and a particular sound, largely made possible by the band’s ability to filter different styles, achieving intense, progressive, psychedelic, mathematical and experimental music, based on varied and complex structures, which abound in nuances, climates and a permanent play of dynamics, without ever losing its personal seal. The band has released five albums, »Intramundo« from 2005, »La Distancia« from 2008, »Crónicas del Futuro« from 2011, »El Dilema del Origen« from 2015, and »Pascuas Profanas (En Vivo)« from 2018, as well as a DVD called »En Viaje Hacia una Nueva Dimensión«. Since 2010, the current line-up of the band was consolidated, with Walter Broide (Los Natas) at the helm of the drums, completing the circle and strengthening the sound power of the combo. Their concerts stand out for being stimulating experiences for the senses, both for the elevated musical proposal and for the amazing visual presentation by A1 Design, who do all the graphic design of the group (cover art, flyers and t-shirts).

In order to seek a different result and innovate with respect to previous albums, each song on Poseidótica’s fifth album was mixed between 2023 and 2024 by a different engineer, adding his particular touch to the song, although without ever losing the band’s marked instrumental identity.
