Pale Crawler is a doom metal solo project from Cologne, Germany, formed by multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Mario Dahmen (Babylon Asleep, Schwermut, Nauthik).

Dahmen comments: “»Process Of Fire« is my more ‘weird’ or unique take on extreme doom metal.

Pale Crawler was originally planned to be a project comprised of not only me but also two renowned musicians from the European doom and black metal scene, but after years of stagnation I ended up playing all instruments myself.

My vocals may seem a bit alien as these songs were written for a complety different vocall style in the first place but alas, t’was not meant to be.”
