Eurynome is an atmospheric funeral doom band based in Milan (Italy), consisting of two members. The band uses distorted basses instead of guitars, as well as many other lines such as synths, orchestrations and piano. The voice finds expression through the classic growl, female singing sessions and some spoken.

The duo was founded in mid-2018 with the intention of creating a funeral doom project with particular sonarities using only electric basses, and also a deepen attention to the sound development. All compositions, instruments and orchestrations were set and recorded at 436 Hz, to give the sound a decadent and more melancholy trend. Inspired by 1800s cemeterial and somber culture,  and also ancient Greek and Roman mythology.

A lot of attention and care were also given to the artworks, the physical editions and the design/packaging of the same. A special wooden box set has been created, entirely handcrafted and finished by the artist. Lyrics are about cemetery scenarios, desolation, decadence, end of the world and solitude.
