Australian sludge/stoner/doom metal act WitchCliff unveils first single »Hellspawn« off their upcoming album »The Darkest Road«

Bunbury, Australia based sludge/stoner/doom metal band WitchCliff has unveiled the first single »Hellspawn« off their upcoming album »The Darkest Road«.

»Hellspawn« is available now on Spotify and all major streaming platforms!

The band comments: “After one of the founding members of WitchCliff had to step back for a year, the remaining members were faced with the decision to either down tools for a year, or carry on as a three piece. And after much hard work and swearing at pedal boards we present to you »The Darkest Road«. An album full of darkness, death, demons and drugs. And of course big fat riffs.

Recorded by James Newhouse at Lamb Chop Studio, thank you for your hard work James we are all really proud of what we have come up with, and you brought our vision and sound alive.

»The Darkest Road« is set to be released at Jam Art Sound Lounge on the 8th of March. As part of Jam Arts tribute to Perths women of music on international womens day.

It will be available for purchase on vinyl, digital download via Bandcamp, or will be available for streaming on all major streaming services. Until then we have released a single from the album, »Hellspawn«.”

WitchCliff are a heavy riffing band from the South West region of Western Australia. Influences include Black Sabbath, Conan, Sleep, EyeHateGod, and Slomatics.
