Galliano, Louisiana based meditative sludge/dharma doom solo project Dhyana has released new EP »Mozhao« on March 18th, 2025.

Dhyana is a one-man project dedicated to buddhist teachings and meditative practices.

“»Mozhao« is now up on Bandcamp. This release focuses on the meditative practice of Silent Illumination, a teaching in Chan buddhism that its practice is to realize one’s true nature through stillness and the emptiness of nature itself.

This release is composed of four tracks that are shorter than the typical Dhyana style, but I wanted to make an EP that didn’t overstay its welcome and be a simple listen.
