Can you say a few words about your band?
We’re trying to take all of our inspirations from heavy music and present it as a fresh sound.
What was the biggest challenge for the band?
Getting thru the Covid 19 pandemic; we had just started gigging when it started; it kept us off the stage for almost 2 years.
What can you be most proud of so far?
We have released two records that we are very proud of. They were well recorded and captured our essence.
What was your biggest regret?
That it is taking so long to conceive our third record.
What was the best concert/tour so far and why?
We have done two tours so far; one of the southeast U.S. and one of the west. We were able to meet many other like minded bands.
What was the biggest surprise on the music scene for you?
Mosh pits are back in a big way. I came up in the 90s when this was the norm. I had thought culture was becoming too delicate; I was wrong.
What is currently in your heavy musical rotation?
Drudkh and Deafheaven have new music out that is very good. Also listening to J.S. Bach for inspiration.

What was the best advice you’ve ever been given as a musician?
The most important person you need to please is yourself.
What are your guilty pleasures?
Vodka?
Can you say something more about current music scene in New Orleans?
We are lucky to come from New Orleans. There are many great bands here that do not tour and are underexposed.
Where can we see you live this year (concerts/tours)?
Probably not for a few months; I must have elbow surgery in April and rehab from that. But we will be back in the clubs in the fall and tour the U.S. again in 2026.
What are your plans for the future as a band?
To finish a third record that is superior to our previous efforts.

Do you have any message for your listeners?
When we started the band, i didn’t think so many would be interested in us. Especially not from countries all over the world. I am humbled and grateful for the support. We want to bring you a new album soon.
