Nantes, France based dark rockers Cabaret Fantôme have just released their debut album »Hollow Sun« on April 17th, 2026 via Bat-Cave Productions.

Formed in Nantes in 2019, Cabaret Fantôme deploys a dark and melodic rock sound, making themselves as well as an offspring from 70s hard rock, 80s goth rock, and even prog. After their debut EP, Seas Of Light, released in 2022, and with over sixty concerts under their belt, the band takes a significant step forward with »Hollow Sun«. This debut album continues the exploration begun by its predecessor. It features eight dense, melodic compositions with enigmatic soundscapes, imbued with surreal and melancholic lyrics.

It’s an invitation to travel, to wide-open spaces. The sound is fundamentally rock, still steeped in hard rock and prog, but with more pronounced folk and goth influences. Everything blends together in a unified whole, forged by the determination and diverse influences of its four members. The Cabaret Fantôme entity never ceases to explore, allowing itself the use of various instruments (saxophone, banjo, flute, mandolin…). The goal: to always better express the emotion that runs through this quartet of composers during their journey.
