Perfect Mess is a grunge/alternative/hard rock band from Pyrgos, Greece, formed in 2012. Blending elements of classic rock, grunge, and alternative metal, the band has shaped a distinctive sound they define as “Progressive Grunge.”

The current lineup features Spilios P. Iliopoulos (vocals, guitars), Spilios K. Iliopoulos (drums, backing vocals), and Giorgos Maroufidis (bass, backing vocals), all active in the Greek underground scene since the mid-2000s.

They have built a strong live reputation, sharing the stage with key acts such as Nightstalker, Planet Of Zeus, 1000mods and Puta Volcano. Their 2017 self-titled debut album introduced their sound to a wider audience, followed by the “Spread The Mess” tour and a standout appearance at Chania Rock Festival 2018 alongside international names including Moonspell, Septicflesh, H.E.A.T and Udo Dirkschneider.

In 2022, Perfect Mess released their sophomore album Breathe, further refining their sonic identity. Following lineup changes, the band returned to a power trio format and entered Wreck It Sound Studios in 2026 to record a new 5-track EP, scheduled for release on April 24th.
