Hanga Roa is a progressive sludge/stoner metal band from Bologna, Italy.
Coming out from the suburbs of Bologna, Hanga Roa is a four-piece metal band born in 2019 who draws inspiration from the sludgy and progressive sound of bands like Mastodon, Neurosis and Melvins. The aim of this project is a constant research of its own identity, striving to create an ancestral and tribal atmosphere.
Hanga Roa’s debut full-length album »Ooze« was released on September 3rd, 2022.
