Australian alternative/grunge/punk band Snub premieres a music video for the second single »Blowflies« taken from their upcoming debut album

Melbourne, Australia based alternative/grunge/punk band Snub premieres a music video for the second single »Blowflies« taken from their upcoming debut album, set to release later this year.

Says the band: “The second single off Snub’s upcoming debut LP. »Blowflies« was the first song we wrote as a band and combines all of the signatures of Snub’s sound. We love playing this song and after a long incubation period we’re proud to release this baby into the world.”

Four-piece grunge punk band from Naarm/Melbourne, Australia. With the shared influences of the band sitting squarely in the 90s, the fuzz soaked guitars and attitude filled female vocals would be right at home alongside riot grrrl legends L7 or Babes In Toyland, or Aussie alt rock heavyweights like Magic Dirt and Silverchair. Snub brings their own spin to the sound with a more punk rock edge and DIY ethos. It’s heavy, it’s catchy, and this is a band you should not Snub. Debut album coming 2024.

Recorded and mixed by Brent Quirk at Studio One.Be.
Mastered by Joe Carra at Crystal Mastering.

About the first single »Don’t Hang Up«: “Do you ever feel like your life is on repeat? Sometimes the endless cycle of modern life makes us feel like we’re losing our grip on reality. Thank fuck we have music as an outlet, and we were able to channel that frustration into our new song »Don’t Hang Up«.”
