Can you say a few words about your band?
We are Kaputth from Nuremberg, Germany. The German word “kaputt” means “broken”, but also “devastated”. Devastation is our inspiration. We play very slow and heavy music.

What was the biggest challenge for the band?
To get off our asses and finally get going.

What can you be most proud of so far?
Holding the brand new double vinyl in our hands.

What was your biggest regret?
I can say without lying that i don‘t have a single regret regarding Kaputth.

What was the best concert/tour so far and why?
Our first gig ever with Cerebral Rot and Mortiferum! It was amazing to finally be letting the beast off the leash.

What was the biggest surprise on the music scene for you?
Everybody is so helpful! We’re always getting so much positive feedback from the scene if we release something. So we’re hyped to share our album with the community on December 21.

What is currently in your heavy musical rotation?
Terje Rypdal – »Oddyssey«.

What was the best advice you’ve ever been given as a musician?
Be friendly and help others – what goes around comes around.

What are your guilty pleasures?
»Arschficksong« by Sido.

Can you say something more about current music scene in Nuremberg?
There is a lot to come – Fairy Duster for example will release their first album soon and really consists of dedicated musicians.

Where can we see you live this year (concerts/tours)?
We will play our release gig in our hometown of Nurnberg and are off to promote our album next year in a place near you. Check out Facebook event at this location.

What are your plans for the future as a band?
Take it even slower.

How can people best support your band?
Buy the album when it’s coming out on December 21.

Do you have any message for your listeners?
Stay tuned. We are tuned standard E, it might surprise you.
