Iranian depressive black/funeral doom metal act Désespéré stream new album »Neminem Occisorum Nominabis Nam Loco Nostro Steterunt«

Tehran, Iran based depressive black/funeral doom metal act Désespéré has just released their new album »Neminem Occisorum Nominabis Nam Loco Nostro Steterunt« on May 30th, 2026.

Tracklist:
01. Neminem Occisorum Nominabis Nam Loco Nostro Steterunt (43:44)

»Neminem Occisorum Nominabis Nam Loco Nostro Steterunt« is the antithesis of redemption. It is the sonic manifestation of suffering and despair, and a monument of slaughter and the aftermath of such monstrosity.

The scenery is one of sheer nightmare: Corpses mingled and maimed, scattered on the roads and squares, walls painted by the blood and brains of many a slain civilian, demons dancing and laughing through the slaughter, and a night of blood-scented ruins.

Behold the infernal spawn of Désespéré!

Warning: Proceed with caution. This release was not a result of my musical abilities; rather, it is the fruit of my unfiltered expression through sounds. If you cannot bear the monotony of my inner suffering, please ignore this album altogether.

Désespéré is:
Harpag Karnik – Bass, Vocals, Programming, Effects

The painting used on the cover is “A Hunted Bird” by Kamal-ol-Molk (1848 – 1940).
Lyrics are an excerpt from an inner monologue by Duiker, the imperial historian in the novel Deadhouse Gates from the Malazan Book of the Fallen series by Steven Erikson.

»Neminem Occisorum Nominabis Nam Loco Nostro Steterunt« is the first album in a series of experimental drone/doom/noise endeavours by Harpag Karnik.
