Oranżada plays psychedelic rock and comes from Otwock, Poland. They released five studio albums and have existed continuously for more than 20 years. The band has played at many international festivals such as the Klangbad Festival (Sheer, Germany), International Art Festival (Bremen, Germany) and Open’er (Poland). They have also played music for silent movies such as »The Birdy« and »Taper«.
The single »So Many Faces« is a song about fear – unnamed, hidden and unnecessary. A fear that can only be dealt with by energy.
In the song »So Many Faces«, bassist Robert Derlatka swaps instruments with guitarist Michal Krysztofiak. The single was released on CD, as the B-side of the single »Holy Ghost«. The single on CD is only available as a package with the vinyl album »Salto«.

Oranżada’s new album »Salto« was released on March 21, 2025. It’s an improvised album and recorded entirely as a performance in the studio.
The album is the result of free creation – the band relied on pure improvisation to create it. »Salto« contains mostly loosely structured instrumental pieces, psychedelic jams, referring to the style of the 60s and 70s.
“The idea for the music was actually born by accident. We were asked to create a soundtrack for a B-grade horror film produced by our friend. It was ment to be done in the mood of Italian horror films from the 1970s. On an April morning, on a day when the moon was full, we played and recorded everything on a small eight-track tape recorder. We didn’t set anything up during the session, we just played track after track, enjoying the fact of creating in real time.” explains the creation of the album by Oranżada’s bassist and vocalist Robert Derlatka.
In keeping with the title of its album, »Salto«, Oranżada performs musical acrobatics on this album. This album underscores that at the root of Oranżada is the pure need to create music, without any preconceived rules. A quartet of well-coordinated musicians, Robert Derlatka, Michal Krysztofiak, Maciej Labudzki and Artur Rzempoluch, were responsible, as always, for creating a thrilling mix of psychedelia and space rock.
“»Salto« would not have been created, however, if it were not for the participation of Maciej Cieslak, a kind of “godfather” of Oranżada’s new work. Maciek was the first person to receive the material, and it was he who suggested that it be released as an album.” says Robert Derlatka.
In addition, Maciej Cieslak from legendary Polish band Ścianka, sang and played the piano as a guest on the only fully-sung track on the album – »Idź do Chmury«.
The second guest on the album is Maja Laura Jaryczewska. A Polish singer, arranger and pianist. On »Salto« she is responsible for the vocals on most of the tracks.
The album »Salto« was released through the Audio Cave label. A CD version, a black vinyl and a yellow vinyl limited to 100 copies are available.
The vinyl version of the album is accompanied by a CD with two new singles that were not included on the album. Side A of the single: »Holy Ghost«, Side B: »So Many Faces«.
Since »Salto« is an album without songs why not add songs to it. Salto Mortale, Yes! – that’s how he explains his singles released outside of his regular album Oranżada.
The two songs are a nod to Oranżada’s proto punk and garage roots, from the days when the musicians played in other bands. However, they have been poured with a thick psychedelic melodic but raw sauce.
