Astrosail is a stoner/doom metal band formed in 2015 in Moscow, Russia.

During this time, the band has come a long way from warm, tube-driven stoner with female vocals to its signature sound: dense, with cranked-up fuzz, polyphony, and a unique atmosphere of the marshmallow viscosity of sublime psychedelia.

Astrosail is not only one of the most interesting bands in the Russian doom/stoner scene, but also a leader in the genre in terms of streaming: for the past few years, the band has consistently ranked among the most sought-after Russian bands in the genre on Yandex.Music.

Their work is a perfect balance between protracted instrumentals and vocal expression, which in tandem slow down time, distort space, and generate rhythm, as if something relic were pulsing from the depths of time.
