The debut album from this occult black metal order rising out of Serbia. Cloaked in an aura of mystery, Dungeon Sorcery unleashes eight tracks of what could be called symphonic black metal. Yet here, “symphonic” does not suggest diminished intensity – quite the opposite. Each composition brims with unrestrained energy, cascading over the listener like waves of sorcery, pulling them into a mystical trance. Everything bursts forth in an illuminated frenzy; the tracks overflow, carrying the soul into an experience where chaos itself is exalted.

The band’s style even spills beyond black metal – most notably through the predominance of possessed, soaring clean vocals, often entwined with the more familiar shrieks the genre demands – while remaining firmly rooted in the traditions of the ’90s. The whole work radiates a dazzling grandeur, a splendid darkness, saturating the space with long, intense incantations.
