Cleveland, Ohio based death/doom metal trio Procession premiere the first single »Mechanically Separated (From The Flesh)« taken from their debut EP, »The Witch King«, scheduled for release on June 19th, 2026 via Iron Fortress Records.

From the shadowed depths of Cleveland, Ohio, stirs death/doom trio Procession, who emerge from the blackened underworld with their debut EP »The Witch King«, out June 19 on CD via Iron Fortress Records, with lead single »Mechanically Separated (From The Flesh)« arriving May 22.

Across four tracks, Procession conjures visions of crumbling kingdoms, sealed catacombs, and fog-laden wastelands where forgotten evil lingers beneath stone and earth, unfolding a descent into ancient ruin where death and doom channel something long-buried.

Drawing influence from the rotting extremity of Autopsy, the spectral dread of Mystic Charm, and the primitive force of Anatomia and Mythic, »The Witch King« unfolds over twenty minutes, as creeping death-doom crawls like fog across a desolate landscape, with synths casting a cold chill of dark ambient throughout.

Formed in 2023, Procession consists of Dominic Dulin (guitars, vocals, synth), Ray Conde (drums), and Grant Mastropieri (bass). Following their »Chthonic Signals« demo cassette (Iron Fortress Records), the band refined their approach into a more focused, immersive form rooted in death/doom’s slow-burning suffocation, fully realised on »The Witch King«. The EP also includes three bonus tracks from the same »Chthonic Signals« release.

»The Witch King« was recorded and mixed by Grant Mastropieri, mastered by Dominic Dulin, and performed by Dominic Dulin, Ray Conde, Grant Mastropieri, and Kenton Kamburoff (bass on tracks five through seven). The artwork was created by Fernando JFL (@giotefeli), with logo design by Dominic Dulin and photography by Brandon Emmert.
