May 13, 2024 – Baroness and Graveyard cap off 2024 with a co-headlining European tour, kicking off in late October.

“Europe, we’re thrilled to announce our return, and to have Sweden’s Graveyard join us for these co-headlining shows,” Baroness says, collectively. “We also bringing our Stateside friends, Pallbearer, with us, and we can’t wait to see some of you for the first time since »Stone«’s release. ‘Til the wheels fall off…”

“It’s that time again!,” Graveyard shares. “We are gearing up to hit the road together with Baroness and Pallbearer. This one will be a journey of sonic explorations beyond the pale. Europe will never be the same! Keep your ears to the ground, friends.”

Pallbearer, who open on all non-festival dates, adds: “We are elated to be bringing songs from »Mind Burns Alive« to Europe alongside Baroness and Graveyard. Playing alongside Baroness is always a treat, and we are looking forward to hearing our first time tour mates, Graveyard, every night as well. Hope to see you on the road!”

Baroness is offering a »Stone« pre-show experience, which includes one general admission ticket, a three-song pre-show acoustic performance, one exclusive art print (printed by Nightswim), a Baroness slipmat, commemorative VIP laminate, the ability to have two Baroness items signed, and early entry to the venue, as well as a dedicated host. About Baroness:

Founded in 2003, Baroness is John Baizley (vocals/guitar), Gina Gleason (guitar), Nick Jost (bass) and Sebastian Thomson (drums). The Philadelphia-meets-Brooklyn foursome have released six full-length albums to date: »Stone« (2023), »Gold & Grey« (2019), »Purple« (2015), »Yellow & Green« (2012), »Blue Record« (2009), and the »Red Album« (2007). Throughout their career, they’ve garnered widespread acclaim, with the band’s albums regularly featured on year-end best of lists, and 2017 seeing their first Grammy nomination. On their most recent album, »Stone«, Pitchfork said they “remain one of the most remarkable and capable bands at the intersection of heavy metal, hard rock, and psychedelia.” Brooklyn Vegan described the 10-song collection as “Baroness at their most alive and direct,” while Revolver added: “»Stone«… is a wild ride, full of triumphant sludge metal, and soaring, shoegazing progressive rock.”

About Graveyard:

As enduring and authentic as an old school leather jacket, Graveyard have long since mastered the art of rock’n’roll. Formed in 2006 in Gothenburg, Sweden, their shared passion for hard rock, psychedelia, and the eternal bedrock of blues, marked them out from the start. Led by vocalist/guitarist Joakim Nilsson, they opened their account with their now seminal self-titled Tee Pee Recordings debut in 2007, showcasing fiery chemistry and some wildly imaginative songwriting. Subsequently snapped up by the mighty Nuclear Blast Records, the band’s rise to prominent was swift and irresistible. Fast forward to 2023, Graveyard have completed their latest full-length recording and memories of gloomy lockdown are fast fading. This band has evolved yet again, both in terms of personnel and on a profound music level. Simply titled 6, the band’s sixth studio record may be instantly recognizable as the work of Nilsson and his comrades, but this is a very different kind of Graveyard album. The second record to feature a line-up of Nilsson, Ramm, bassist Truls Mörck and drummer Oskar Bergenheim, it is more soulful, more introspective and a little darker than its predecessors. The new songs reflect the fragile aftermath of a ruinous global sickness, drawing more inspiration than ever from the blues in the process. But despite its melancholy overtones, 6 still sparks and flashes with many moments of riff-driven euphoria. Ultimately, Graveyard are operating on instinct alone.

About Pallbearer:

Pallbearer is Brett Campbell (vocals/electric guitar/synthesizer), Devin Holt (electric and acoustic guitar/vocals), Mark Lierly (drums/percussion) and Joseph D. Rowland (vocals/bass guitar/synthesizer). The Little Rock, Arkansas based band formed in 2008 and have since released four albums: »Forgotten Days« (2020), »Heartless« (2017), »Foundations Of Burden« (2014), and »Sorrow And Extinction« (2012). In their review of »Forgotten Days«, Pitchfork described the foursome’s music as “soaring majesty on an album that find a new way forward by refining their past,” Stereogum dubbed the collection as “warm and melodic and comforting,” while Revolver said the songs are “sweeping and melancholic” living “between the majesty of “vintage Black Sabbath and the morbid romanticism of Type O Negative.” Decibel, who have featured the band on their cover multiple times, declaring the band’s unique musical vision as “intense, emotional thunder.”
