Cage The Ox are a heavy doom metal band from the Highlands of Scotland. Debuting in 2023 on Inverness’s annual show “Fuzzness”, Cage The Ox quickly became the host for its 2024 & 2025 iteration. Supporting bands along the way such as Dead Otter, Earl Of Hell, Phantom Droid and Stinking Lizaveta.
Encapsulating many blends of the stoner/doom genre, Cage The Ox captures their sound with roaring fuzz tones, slow riffs and melodic progressions. Taking influences across the board, Cage The Ox is for fans of bands such as Monolord, Bongzilla, Belzebong, Windhand and lots more.
