Goblyns return with »Darlings« – a song about new starts and old ghosts, driven by a psychedelic groove – new album »Who Do You Fight?« out November 13 via Crazysane Records!

The new single is a restless, two-sided meditation on letting go, moving forward and the contradictions that come with change.

On »Darlings« the new single from Goblyns, that tension becomes the song’s driving force. The track is a devastatingly cool, heart-drawn meditation on new starts, letting go, and conflicting ideas. It’s also the first glimpse into »Who Do You Fight?«, Goblyns’ forthcoming third album, out November 13 via Crazysane Records.

Built in two distinct halves, »Darlings« constantly shifts its emotional footing, pairing masterful syncopation and drawn-out psychedelic grooves with a deeper focus on traditional R&B songwriting. Rather than resolving its contradictions, the track lets opposing ideas exist side by side.

That tension runs through »Who Do You Fight?«, Goblyns’ tight, transformative and transportive third album. The record marks an ambitious turn for the band, retaining their intricate rhythmic interplay and psychedelic sensibilities while placing a stronger emphasis on traditional rock ‘n’ roll and R&B songwriting. The result is a restless, carefully constructed record that leaves plenty of room to get lost in.

Across half of the album, the band’s drummer Frank’s voice enters the picture, weaving another layer into the record’s dreamlike landscape. His presence adds a new dimension to the songs, moving between intimacy and distance while reinforcing the album’s fascination with change, conflict and shifting perspectives.
