Eldfödd (Death Metal // Sweden)
Rotten, vile, powerful and born from fire in February 2025, Sweden’s Eldfödd started as a project meant to revive and honor the spirits that once brought excitement to the death metal scene. Sebastian Ramstedt, inspired by the old master pieces from Carcass, Entombed, Autopsy and Dismember released two songs “just for the hell of it” on Bandcamp.
The songs »Beyond The Fire« and »Silence Of The Gods« revealed two blistering and well composed examples of deadly metal. Response came imminent. Perra Karlsson reached out and wanted to do the songs justice with proper drums. Then came Erik Sahlström (vocals) and Johan Jansson (rhythm guitar). Finally they needed a bass player to complete the line up so they asked the best they could think of: Victor Brandt.
In less than a couple of weeks after the first demo was released, the recording sessions had started for the first official release, the EP »Risen From The Flames«. Mixed and mastered by Gord Olson, and featuring artwork by Sebastian Ramstedt, the first release from Eldfödd dropped in October 2025 through Edged Circle Productions.
This autumn, Eldfödd will release their debut album, titled »The Night Belongs To The Dead«. Even more decomposed, wicked and vigorous. This deadly serpent will swallow you whole! Merciless drums! Crushing riffs! Violating growls! Morbid insanity as a whole! Mixed and mastered by Gord Olson (Darkened, Inculter, AngelBlast). Recorded and engineered at Studiocave Fagersta by Pontus Ekwall (Darkened, Deströyer 666, In Aeternum).
The band consists of legends of the Swedish metal scene. Together they have participated on numerous Swedish and international classics and performed on the largest stages. The members of Eldfödd have been involved in a whole lot of standout releases and participating live with artists such as Necrophobic, Dismember, Deströyer 666, Nifelheim, Darkened, Dreadful Fate, General Surgery, Under The Church, In Aphelion, Maze Of Torment, Witchery and many, many more.
