Atlanta, Georgia based doom/stoner metal veterans Pickman’s Model are back with their new full-length album, »Megalith«, which was just released independently on September 4th, 2026.

Pickman’s Model is an underground stoner doom metal band from Atlanta, Georgia, active since the 1990s. The current lineup features Andy Samford (guitar, vocals), Brendan McCusker (drums), Stephen Carrington (bass), and Brian Holcomb (guitar).

Formed in Atlanta, Pickman’s Model have roots stretching back to the mid-1990s and were signed to YouthBand Records and released material through guitarist Andy Samford’s Lucid Haze Records. Known for underground recordings and releases, their discography including »Megalith« (2026), »An Astronaut’s Lament« (2020), »The Cats Of Ulthar« (2011), »Tales From Room 54« (2012), »Deimos« (1995), »Phobos« (1995), and »Exploring Inner Space« (1994).
